Managing Your Subscription
Who Can Manage Your Subscription?
For Family and Tutor accounts, only one person can make changes to your subscription. They must be both of the below things...
- the person who is listed as your account "Treasurer" (usually this will be the person who set your account up originally).
- the person whose store account ID is used to make subscription payments via whichever store you purchased the app from (the Apple App Store for iPad / iPhone or the Google Play Store for Android)
If you are not listed as the Treasurer, you will not be able to access the functionality to make changes to your subscription from within the app. You will need to ask whoever is your account Treasurer to make any subscription changes that are required.
If you are listed as the Treasurer, but don't have the store login credentials for the account your subscription is linked to then you will not be able to make any changes either and again, will need to ask the person who does have those login credentials to make the changes on your behalf.
Managing Your Subscription Via The App
This only applies to Family and Tutor accounts. For School accounts, please contact us to change your subscription. If you tick both the above boxes, you can access subscription management via the app by following the below steps (the screens below may be slightly different, depending which app you are using. These examples are from Squeebles Times Tables Connect, but other Squeebles Connect apps are almost identical).
Step 1: Log in to the Parent / Teacher Zone
Step 2: Tap the grey "Account" button in the main menu (top right of the screen). This will take you to the screen shown below, left.
Step 3: Tap the "My Subscription" tab (on the right hand side). This will take you to the screen shown above, right, that summarises your subscription. If you have a valid subscription, you will see a green bar telling you that you have an active subscription. If your subscription has expired, or been cancelled, or you have never taken out a subscription, you will see a different message.
Step 4: Tap the big orange "Change Subscription >" button to change, renew or start a new subscription. This will launch a screen similar to the one shown below, left, but with whichever options would be relevant to your account type. This example shows what a school account would see.
Note: in Squeebles Spelling Connect and as of version 2 of Squeebles Times Tables Connect, you cannot switch between family and tutor account types from within the app.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time by tapping the red "Cancel Subscription" button on the My Subscription page. This will advise you on how to cancel.
Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account and you can take out a new subscription at any time by using the above process, whilst signed in to the Parent / Teacher area of the app using your account details.
If you do want your whole account deleted, please e-mail us from the e-mail address associated with your account (this is crucial - we cannot delete an account associated with a different e-mail address to the one we have on record for you) and we will action that, in line with our privacy policy.
